What’s Happening In Your House?

Funny old day. Two of our bunnies have been/are poorly. One got well again within 24 hours but one of our does isn’t herself at all. DH brought her in this morning for her worming medicine then kept her in for about 5 hours. She had antibiotics & anti inflammatories this afternoon which perked her up ( started taking them on Tuesday & will finish on Monday). Her “ partner” has been an absolute sweetie, so attentive & caring. I must admit, my bunnies have helped to keep me sane in these weird scary times.
Popped out earlier to Pets At Home for hay & couldn’t believe how much traffic was on the road & how busy the store carpark was, although a lot of the cars were there for B & Q which has recently reopened. I think people are forgetting we’re still in lockdown!
I was all set to do a mini roast for tea but decided to save the chicken crown for another day. DH & I will have ready meal curries. DD was sick this afternoon so not sure if she’ll want anything much. She found a recipe for gluten free doughnuts. They didn’t exactly go right & I wonder if it they were undercooked & upset her tummy 😥 She’s had a nap & is now chilling in her room. DH has also gone for a nap. Looking forward to a relaxing evening & watching BGT

It's been raining here for 3 days and we're all seriously bored being stuck inside. It's so much easier when we can sit in the garden!

DH and I are on the sofa on our phones. We've already eaten so will probably just snack our way through the evening. We're going to watch a film and just relax.

It's Ramadhan day 8 (or 9? I've lost count) over here in our house.

I'm laying in a bubble bath, mumsnetting.

Dh is watching tv with the toddler , and the two older dds (11 and 7) are also watching tv in another room. The 11 year old is fasting (her own choice; in fact she argued the case hard and won, in case anyone is wondering why an 11 year old is fasting). The younger two have just eaten so it's all nice and calm as it is when little bellies are full

Now going to do some online Eid present shopping for the kids

Later we will order a take away (and dessert, let's not forget dessert) for eating time (sunset , which is around 8:45pm 😩).

I'm going to get out of the bath and into my snuggliest pjs. It's not cold here, gorgeous and sunny but you do feel cold when you've not eaten !

I have just been for a long and very hot run (London, sun is out again) and I am now lounging on the sofa in my crop top and knickers working up the enthusiasm for a shower before getting dressed up in my evening dress for dinner (we make an effort to pretend we’re in a nice restaurant a couple of times a week, it mixes things up and we feel like we’ve unlocked an achievement. Even if the wine usually does come from a box.) Then a Zoom drinks meetup with some friends in Philadelphia after.

Hope your bunnies perk up soon. I have a soft spot for bunnies.

I'm in the garden but it's looking like rain so might need to go in soon, the Ds's are on the PlayStation, the pets are all asleep and the birds in the garden are singing. I just heard a cuckoo twice

DDs are playing minecraft while skyping their cousin who is playing minecraft at his house. I don't what DH is doing. He should be making dinner but isn't.
We attempted to make bath bombs from a kit today. It didn't go well. DDs spent most of the day watching screens. We went for a walk and they spent most of the time complaining they were tired and their legs hurt.

Me - drinking tea, watching Great British Sewing Bee and stewing plums for making a crumble tomorrow.
