What can you hear?

Lying in bed because cba. I can hear DH moving around the kitchen. He is opening the fridge, and taking out something and unwrapping it. It sounds sort of wooden and hollow, like a guitar.

Now he is scrunching the wrappings, there seem to be a lot. Opening the cutlery drawer. Will they fit in there?

Outside all seems quiet but about three streets away someone is lobbing wine bottles from a first floor window into a wheelie bin.

Quite a few cars going up our usually quiet street. Here comes the ice-cream van ( I'm shocked at this. Surely there will be no customers ).
Car going past playing 90s clubland-style tune.
DD downstairs shouting 'sit' to ddog.

Biscuit tin
More egg beating
Salt flakes
Bread knife

Op if you can hear cheese being grated you must have supersonic hearing!

Birdsong. Loud and beautiful.

The kids next door shrieking happily, the washing machine spinning, loud birdsong, my dog snoring and a distant lawnmower.

Absolute silence here,good I am waiting for Father Christmas on his sleigh!!!

Local Round Table are collecting for the food bank.

I'm sitting in one of the front rooms.

I can hear DS2 thumping about and grunting, upstairs. He's majorly stimming, at the moment.
DS1 ting tinging on his phone, next door.
The whirr of DH's Xbox, and clatter of his controller, with lots of muttering as he tries to figure something out.
The blackbirds are all being quite vocal. There's quite a bit of traffic, outside, and a child having a whinge about something.
And the dishwasher and tumble dryer are both humming, loudly, in the kitchen.

Birds in the trees next door. The occasional car. DH is pottering around opening cupboard doors. Quite quiet
here today!

I'm in the bath. The window is open and I can hear birdsong outside. The hot tap is dripping. Then downstairs I can hear my toddler playing loudly. I can hear my eldest talking. Just heard the dog patter up the stairs to find me but I've locked the bathroom door to keep her and the Toddler out😈

Traffic. Lots of traffic. More and more each day. 😔

Humming of computers.

Faint voices (or possibly TV) from next door.

Just now, an angry-sounding seagull.

Lambs bleating

Kids screaming and crying
And it's a residential area..

DP is downstairs muttering loudly. He's taken his camera apart as there was a mark on photos. Sounds likes he's having trouble putting it back together! I've been in and on top of the bed since lunchtime!!

I can hear the oven preheating, DP and DS making tea and Thomas the ya k engine on the telly.

My tinnitus - my permanent lodger 😣. Oh, and from the other room some war film on TV with planes shooting other planes by the sound of it...

My kitchen tap constantly drip drip drip and my oven still humming away after my son made some chocolate chip muffins earlier.

Next doors fucking TV. It's been on a new channel all day and I feel like smashing it.

Wood pigeon cooing extra loudly (got the horn I think?) a flying insect humming, bit of breeze through the trees, assorted chirpy birds - not great at identifying by sound but one of them is definitely a blackbird
