Help! Cannot find what I shazamed!

Afternoon
So I am halfway through Loudermilk season 2 episode 5 (on prime) at around 7.25 mins in... and the character discovers new music.
To make things complicated, this music is identified as Ben Rogers Band in the programme: Ben Rogers exists but the music identified elsewhere (River, Steady going nowhere) is NOT the track I like (which is kind of indie hippy hipster the shins kinda vibe).
So I shazamed it.

It gives me:

Title: Anymore
Band: The ivory intervals
Album: Walnut Tree

Cannot find it on googleplay or any reference to it on the internet.
Can any of you see if it is on spotify please?
If not, how or why do tracks disappear into the ether - because they have not been published or artist removed them?
Thanks in advance Flowers Wine

I couldn't find anything on Spotify.
Have a look here, I can't atm.

MiniMum97 · 02/05/2020 15:30

It's not on Apple Music.

AngusThermopyle · 02/05/2020 15:30

Forgot to add,

These are the only albums with walnut tree in the title on Spotify ...

Cheers anyway. Brew Cake Bizarre.
That link Angus just takes me back to Ben Rogers tracks. Which are good but country not indie. Thanks anyway. Not just me, on reddit and Angus's link, others are asking the same. Also the title 'anymore' Shazam gave (and it identified it quickly) made sense with the lyrics. But on Shazam websire rather than the app, no recognition of said band, album or title whatsoever.
Not on amazon music either.
Tis the Kaiser Soze of records clearly Grin

So, no history on tinternet, wiki, spotify, google play, amazon music, apple music. I am going to have to give up aren't I and file it away with two other 'lost' tracks I like (Slaughterhouse 5, alone again with you and Catherine Huth, a very talented lady) Ah well.

Thanks x

I'm really sorry the band doesn't have any music on Deezer either. Is it on YouTube? Could you do an audio conversion?

FiveOutOfFiveGoldblums · 02/05/2020 16:53

Not on the tube of you, no. A what now?!
(I am a dinosaur technophobe. I was ridiculously proud of getting the shazam app and using it! Grin you only live last century Wink
The show (very good, recommend it) only played 30 seconds of the track while the lead was sleeping.
Was bizarre set up in any case - if it was your song, why would you allow a show to say it was a different band altogether? Confused
And for the band mentioned, why would you want to be linked with a song you didn't do, and to be played by a fictional character later in the show rather than doing a cameo yourself?
Most odd.

Sleeping? Not sleeping, he was mopping.
Freudian slip maybe, I could do with a nap!

I think it is River by Ben Rogers...if you type in 'Ben Rogers River' into Spotify the song will come up, skip to 2:30 and that's the part that's played in the show. I found it by using the seriestrack website which lists the soundtracks of various tv shows!

FiveOutOfFiveGoldblums · 02/05/2020 19:28

Ah I am so so confused.
So the guy playing Felix Furbush (the band guy who chooses Ben Rogers as his band name) is played by Benjamin Rogers (I didn't recognise him but he is an actor and musician) and they play out with Steady Going nowhere.
Bur the song during the mopping isn't River. I don't have River on Spotify but I have listened to it on googleplay and at 2.30 it isn't what is being played on Loudermilk at 7 mins 30 seconds in, in the UK.
It may appear somewhere else in the episode (it is listed on Tunefind and on imbd) but the song I am seeking has these lyrics:
I'm not sitting around just waiting for my life to start anymore
No I'm not slowing it down I'm falling for the noise
I fell (for before) oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is so strange! It appears that there are two different versions of the episode! So the song that I hear during the episode on the prime video app (UK) is def River. I listened to it on Google play and the song is a couple of mins longer than the version on Spotify and the section is at 4:00-5:00 mins.

However, when I watch the episode on amazon video within my browser (not the app), it plays the song that you're talking about! So based on your shazam findings, I found the song you like on Spotify and Google play, but it's 1:30 long and no lyrics (only the oh's!) but I'm pretty sure it's the same song.

Band is 'The Ivory Intervals', song is 'Anymore' and the album is 'Walnut Street' (not tree). If you search for The Ivory Intervals in Google play it is the only result.

I can't find the full song anywhere, though Sad

I wonder why they changed the song when the characters were talking about it being Ben Rogers and they even had him in the episode!

Aposterhasnoname · 03/05/2020 15:09

I found it straight away on amazon music.

Bless you for trying rose You got further than I did, bless!
Walnut street, I need my eyes testing Grin
I just spent the 99p on google play out of curiosity - even weirder. As the song definitely had a verse and chorus (It starts as Ben is at the desk) so the instrumental bit doesn't even make sense as a film music type snippet (I have bought scores in the past with 1.30 etc on them, find it frustrating but needs must).
That whole album seemed to be made up of film score type filler though - maybe they're all session singers/agency bands for music supervisors.
But the substitution for Ben River when Ben River is in the show and they're talking about Ben River wtaf Grin
Thanks love for helping me move away from the rabbit hole. It is a shame as I liked the lyrics/mood of the chorus - guess it just hasn't been published anywhere in its own right.
Cheers x

Ah poster I coulda saved the princely sum of 40p Grin had I put in walnut street and not walnut tree thus ending up with Keane! Wink
Curse you Keane!
Just checked and it's still the 1.30 version though, instrumental only with ohs but no cigar ie no verse or chorus. Thanks though lovely people.

FiveOutOfFiveGoldblums · 03/05/2020 15:53

even weirder

That snippet is now on youtube, dated yesterday/released today. I swear it wasn't there when I looked. Are google stalking me?!

AngusThermopyle · 03/05/2020 19:19

Looks over shoulder [wiki]
If they are stalking me...CAN I HAVE THE FULL VERSION NOW PLEASE??!!! Grin

OP posts:
FiveOutOfFiveGoldblums · 03/05/2020 19:55

Wiki? Grin I meant wink Wink Clearly, I need to step away from the keyboard now!
I did dm a couple of music companies to see if they can shed light on it. I really don't mind if it is only 1 min 30 and session musicians that provide background/musak or whatnot, but it would be nice to have it confirmed. Does make you wonder how much talent is out there that goes undiscovered/don't get their big break.

Hi

:) I searched for this song for almost a week after watching season 2 ep 5. I found it on Spotify, but it doesnt seem to be the full song, which I found very curious. I found it and am going to buy it on Amazon music. There’s no sampling the song on Amazon Music before purchasing, so I know there’s a risk of buying the same short version I found on Spotify. But I like the song enough to risk it.

Beener19 · 15/05/2021 03:45

What is the song called and who sings it? I’ve been looking for it for weeks!

The song that LouderMilk listens to on the computer, and in the bank is by Patrick Joseph - Sitting Around.
