I am concerned about my toddler when they were about 1 years old they were talking quite well making sentences then they started with these fit they looked like fits so I took them to the hospital and was told it was behavioural nothing else was done now. The talking then stopped and they went backwards not forwards. The fits are more like arm flapping , kicking of legs. Now they are nearly 3 they have got worse hands opening and closing movements lack of attention span. Not talking falling over a lot and spinning in circles. Could this be dyspraxia or autism or something else. I can't see a GP because of covid 19 and I am not sure about the health visitors does anyone have similar symptoms in there toddler. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

It could be but he really needs proper assessment the health visitor is probably the ffirst port of call and they can refer to the padiatrician etc but yes unfortunately in his current climate assessments and referrals will take longer than usual

Could be either and can also be a sign of adhd or a combination

Needs to be assessed

My GP started the assessment process for me as said it would go faster than through school or nursery. Get a phone appointment with a GP you have found helpful in the past and get things started. Good luck.

Phone your GP, they are still doing appointments over the phone. They can then get your LO referred.
