Just wondering whether anyone is in a similar situation.
Ex was furloughed five weeks ago as many people were and told me he wouldn’t be able to pay maintenance until he was paid at the end of April. Absolutely fine, obviously couldn’t be helped so I just waited until the end of April. I expected to be paid two days ago latest and he still hasn’t paid me so I chased it up yesterday and he’s claiming he still hasn’t been paid? He has form for bullshitting so I’m just wondering whether this could be true or not really, anyone else still waiting to be paid?
The people I know who were also furloughed even later than he was were paid this week as the chancellor and all news outlets said they would be. He gets paid weekly so usually pays me weekly in turn and with the DC with me 24/7 now (he hasn’t seen them since lockdown), I’m starting to feel the hit. I know I can’t do anything either since CMS are no longer chasing missed payments so I’m starting to think I’ll never be paid. He’s five weeks behind now.
