DH anxiety making everything harder

DH has a bit of health anxiety. Day to day he is fine but it is obvious that this virus has him struggling. He keeps telling the kids off for jumping around, kicking balls at each other and going more than a few steps ahead on a walk - all in case they get hurt and there are no medics available. Fair enough- but then they also get told off for not being able to contain their bundles of energy and struggling to sit still through a film or game. They are 4 & 7 and doing their best. He has taken to making everyone take their shoes off outside and then spraying them with dettol and grilling everyone - including me about if we have washed our hands for long enough.
I am getting really sick of being treated like a child and the kids are getting frustrated too. This morning I nipped to the shop, covered my face and wore gloves. Got home washed my hands and was heading for a shower when DH questioned me about how long I had washed my hands for. I snapped and told him to stop treating me like a child. I had washed my hands (in very hot water!) and was going for a shower. I acknowledged his anxiety but said I was losing patience with the way he was speaking to me.
I feel bad now. I know it’s hard for him but he is making it really hard for the rest of us!
