Samsung mobile

Just wondered if anyone could help please. I've got a Samsung mobile and its telling me that "storage is running out". I've tried the EE shop but presume they are not open under the current rules.
Is there anyone who could give me some advice on what I should do to increase the storage. Obviously it sounds like I need to delete things but what? I confess now I'm so not techy and I'm old so haven't a clue what to do!

Could you add a micro SD card to give more stoarage space?

Which model is the phone?

A lot of samsungs have expandable memory which just means you can put in a memory card and store anything more to that. Google the model and see if it has that option. Things that will be filling your memory that you can delete will be photos, games, apps etc.

You can clear a small amount of memory by going to Settings, Device maintenance and follow the instructions.
Go through your apps and get rid of those you don't use/want. Check through any downloads etc and clear them out. Videos use a lot of storage.

I have the same issye , i have a samsung A5 , about once a month i go to settings > device memory > clear ( I think ) it gets rid of cache and unused files .
Remember to clear things like junk / unwanted emails & text msg too .
