There are only so many walking routes nearby and getting bored doing the same ones. Need to find a new plan.

Going to work. I'm working 11.00 until 21.00hrs.

Whatdayisit2 · 02/05/2020 08:50

Cleaning. House look like several bombs have gone off!

turnandfacethenamechange · 02/05/2020 08:50

Surfed this morning, cleaned the kitchen, did mending, laundry, cut DPs hair... now sitting around wondering what the hell to do this evening without stuffing my face/glugging wine Confused

desperatehousewife21 · 02/05/2020 08:50

Working from home til 1, have lunch then go for bike ride with DH and DCs then maybe gardening or clean my outside window sill at the front of the house, noticed the other day how dirty it is!

porridgeface · 02/05/2020 08:51

Hoping baby decides to make an appearance Smile
Think I'll distract myself with some gardening and nagging OH to paint the bathroom

RedRiverShore · 02/05/2020 08:53

Thanks for the heads up on Once upon a time in Hollywood, Roscoe, that's about 3 hours sorted this evening

inwood · 02/05/2020 08:54

I have to drop shopping to mum and collect a prescription for her. I am unreasonably excited about this.

bonzo77 · 02/05/2020 08:57

Washing the bedding. Uploading my kids homework to the class dojo. Trying to finish the 4 sets of scrubs I’m sewing. Might bake a cake. Help my 20 year old clean out his pet rats’ cage. When DH gets in from work I’ll do my 2nd C25K run and 10 year old will come with.

hopeishere · 02/05/2020 08:59

Garden work
Walk - will take the longer route and try and persuade DS1 to come on his bike
Dust our bedroom
Check email for work
Try and get us all to watch a family film later (instead of Hunters on Amazon that DH picked and is shite)

Iamblossom · 02/05/2020 09:04

Scrubbed every room in my house yesterday (omfg i miss my cleaner) so will get up soon and have breakfast , watch a grey's Anatomy while that goes down then planning to run 10ishkm.

Not much else planned. Watched half of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood last night, might finish it later, DH thought it was boring, but i thought it was worth it for the eye candy alone...

Steaks for tea.

dottiedodah · 02/05/2020 09:10

Another long walk to the River for me! We live a short walk away and there are several short cuts (one only recently discovered due to a nice lady telling me about it) After that ,lunch making a nice easy tea loaf and a nap/TV show!

LajesticVantrashell · 02/05/2020 09:30

DH is having his lie in so I'm entertaining the three year old (which means letting him use me as a human climbing frame while I MN). Then it's a trip to Sainsbury's once he's up. Home, lunch then a big walk up a hill which we'll try and string out for as long as possible.

Home, pulled pork for tea and Toy Story 4, then a few wines when DS is in bed.

happypotamus · 02/05/2020 09:34

I have no idea.
Should there be homework from 'home school'? We only manage about 3hrs of school work a day and not everyday because I go to work some days. Practising maths, reading etc was done at the weekend before so maybe it still should be?
Brownies and Rainbows emailed some activities for badges so we might do them.
I should clean the house a bit.

Kim82 · 02/05/2020 09:36

Pamper morning for my 3 girls then we’re getting dressed up for afternoon tea at home. Once Dh gets back from work we’re having a takeaway (it’s our wedding anniversary and we’d usually go out to eat but obviously can’t), then it’ll be a film on the sofa and bed.

Penny31 · 02/05/2020 09:40

Just had a clean around. Need to hoover the stairs, make the beds and stick a wash on.
Going to plant up a hanging basket, do some baking with DD and have a stroll somewhere this afternoon.

I have good days a bad days at the minute. My motivation level has been low all week but feeling more positive today.

minmooch · 02/05/2020 09:51

@porridgeface ooh how exciting. Fingers crossed for you. 👶🏼

KeepWashingThoseHands · 02/05/2020 09:53

This has inspired me to get moving, so been up and at it changing the beds as today is a 'drying day' here Smile

Going to tidy and garden and will be able to relax more this evening if everywhere doesnt look like a bomb site.

Enjoys your days!

DH is decorating the kitchen (painting ceiling and walls). I've made packed lunches for myself and the DCs and we're staying out of the way. Garden, a walk at some point, building Lego, films. No home school as it's Saturday! Whoop!

Thighdentitycrisis · 02/05/2020 09:58

Sanding garden furniture

sasparilla1 · 02/05/2020 10:00

I've had a lazy morning so far as just getting over a migraine.

Dh is working so I need to brave the supermarket, and also drop in some bits to my parents. Bit worried about my mum, she's 79 and has COPD but has got a chest infection and spent the last few days in bed.

I have some shelves I want to paint, bananas to use up in a cake and apples in a crumble, painting (the arty sort) with the kids and hopefully a walk if I can drag their lazy bums out!!

lucysmam · 02/05/2020 10:14

I'm going to take down a bookshelf, clean it, and then leave it at the end of my front garden to be collected by a friend. I'll wave from the front window which will possibly be curtain-less as I've been decorating in there over the course of a fortnight & want to wash them.

Other than that; repair a pair of dd2's pj bottoms, possibly order some fabric if I can decide what to make & do a bit more decorating, and probably some washing.

We'll do dd1's food tech work later on - I only thought to look for an app to go alongside the website last night so now we can upload pics & it'll be easier to print the files she couldn't open on the laptop from my phone.

Dd2 got out the temporary tattoos, tattoo pens, face paint pens and hair chalks quite late last night so I think they're what she'll be using today.

No idea what's for tea yet.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 02/05/2020 10:16

DS has 8 written exams that count towards his finals in the next fornight, so he is sitting and preparing for the first two.
DD has uni work to finish.
DH started on the cooking and I have found out that with a bit of furniture moving (Kallax and IVAR) I can free more space for our books. I am nearly done, yay!

namechangenumber2 · 02/05/2020 10:20

We're going to have a binge watch day! Been looking forward to it all week Grin

Itstheprinciple · 02/05/2020 10:44

Vaxing the dining room carpet, planting out tomato plants, an online quiz this afternoon and a zoom meet up and quiz with friends and gin tonight.

RebelWhoWashesFor19Seconds · 02/05/2020 11:38

Gardening. My local shop has finally got its plants in today so I've plans to message in my order and get them to leave them away from everyone for pick up.
I'm also trying to keep all the kids quiet so DH can sleep off his night shift. He's got Tonight and tomorrow to go so my poor boy needs his kip!
