Have you ever "unshrunk" viscose?

I'm a bit of a chunker so I love those viscose, tailored tops that drape and sit nicely without clinging. A while ago Next were selling the most perfect work top, so I ordered 3 in different colours - they looked great, very flattering and fit beautifully.

I washed the first one as per instructions - and it shrunk, about 3 inches in every direction. I put it to one side in case I lost a coupe of stone overnight, wore the next one as long as I dared beore I was obliged to wash it, as cool as possible - same. The last one has remained unworn.

I have read that if you soak it in a solution of water and hair conditioner, and stretch it out whilst damp, it can be unshrunk? Has anyone ever bothered, does it work?

It seems such a waste to chuck them.

Iron it! And pull ever so gently.

What, dry? Wonder if that will work, I thought the heat would cramp up the fibres even more...

Worth a try!
