Unfortunately this isnt just tonight. Every night I dont drift off until after 3am and then wake up again at 5am and go to the loo, try and sleep maybe doze for a bit, fall asleep heavily at 6.45 and the alarm goes at 7. This has been going on for about 6 weeks, since we all were socially distancing. I keep on checking my laptop, or phone. I know I should switch them off but when I lie there, I get a panicky feeling like if I fall asleep something bad will happen or I wont wake up. I guess its a form of panic attack, so I go online to take my mind off it and then it starts again.
I dont want to take medication, but wonder if anyone has any other tips apart from not taking my phone, laptop to bed.
