Does anyone have any ideas for making the bank holiday next Friday different from the weekend? We were thinking of having a barbecue if the weather is good. Any other ideas?

Celebrate 1945-style - by eating all this delicious food that featured in VE Day celebrations.
• Dripping sandwiches. Mmm, beef fat
• Lord Woolton pie. ...
• Pork faggots with onion gravy and mash. ...
• Homity pie. ...
• Corned beef hash. ...
• Liver casserole. ...
• Eggless fruit cake.

We’re going to plan and make our own afternoon tea. Funny how all the ideas so far are good related😀.

Do you have Dc? You could research popular games/toys from that era and have ago at making/playing them

Afternoon tea is a good back up in case it isn't barbecue weather. Thanks.
