Is there a way to stop snoring?

I'm writing this as I lie next to my partner who is snoring so loud I don't know how he doesn't keep the neighbors up!
We are expecting a baby in a few months who will be in our room, and I guess I'm thinking if his snoring keeps me awake - it will wake the baby too?
Are there any decent methods or aids that actually work to combat this? If I shove him he will move and stop but it will start again 10 minutes later. As long as I can get to sleep first it's ok!

Does his breathing stop at all, even for very short periods, snort, grunt, almost stutter?

There is a ring you can buy. From holland & Barratt....
It didnt work on my partner, but it works on my aunt and her ex mil

Oh wow I could have written this post! I've just taken myself off to the spare room for the same reason and also have a baby due in 3 weeks, so that will be fun. No sleep apnoea issues with my husband. I have no solutions either, just wanted to empathise Sad

Lol at the meme!
He is overweight yes. That being said when he was slim he also snored like a train but me being younger didn't care so much about lost sleep.
Ring is interesting how on Earth does that work I wonder?

Oh and no to the stopping breathing, not quite that bad but yes to the grunts.
