Just a funny experience to share :) to take the mind of things
I will start with mine!!!
Some years ago when I was in my mid 20's, we had a ''gathering'' - my grandparents (in their 70's) would come visit me and my mother, obviously staying in my mum's flat.
The flat was obviously made out of cardboard walls as you could hear the mouse tip toeing three rooms away. On the first night I was awoken by the conversation (whispers in my grandparent's minds) in the next door bedroom...
GP= Grandpa
GM= Grandma
GP: Everyone is asleep, I want to do it quietly while no one notices...
GM: They will hear. NO!
GP: Ok, what if I will be very VERY quiet?!!
GM: No! They will hear! You will wake everyone!
GP: I will be really quiet and very quick! Pleaaase?.. Just this time?
GM: NO! Kids are next door, you old fool! Go back to sleep!
GP: You never let me have fun! (Snores after few minutes)
I was in my bed and thought - wow, Grandpa!!!! At this age??!!! Way to go!!! only to find out the next day... that he wanted a remote from TV that my grandma have hidden not to wake kids in the middle of the night by my grandpa wanting to watch 24/7 news.
