Shoe size dilemma!

Found an amazing bargain on some trainer style shoes but in 6.5 and I'm a 6. I'm thinking half a size too big won't really matter for lace ups? Confused

depends on sizing for the brand. i’m a 3.5 up to 5.5 depending on the brand
