Is it called “nominative determinism”? Where your name describes your job?

I just linked the ONS baby name website to a different thread. I noticed the surname of the person who compiled it was Littleboy Smile

DM’s GP is called Dr Blood.

In a legal environment with which I once had a connection:

Mr Law
Mr Court
Mrs Crooks
Mr Chrimes

And I once saw a wedding announcement:

A Mr Bath to a Miss Tubb!

Not quite nominative determinism but it still amused me nevertheless

whichteaareyou · 30/04/2020 13:18

Used to work with a dentist called Dr Sugar

@Hedgesfullofbirds how sweet!
