It's currently 'raining' on the stairs while dd1 finishes off. & it's already been repaired (and walk in shower replaced with a bath) four times since I moved in 3.5 years ago.

Ffs [eyeroll]

Lucy you have my heartfelt sympathy. I have exactly the same problem right down to having it ripped out and redone three years ago. Nothing but constant problems. I feel like I could knock the house down, rebuild it and the bloody bathroom would still leak. I really really feel for you!

@Grabbber I'm kind of relieved to see it's not just my bathroom that is a complete arse!!

It's doing my nut in. There are other issues too but the constantly leaking bathroom takes priority as the third time the ceiling in the downstairs hallway nearly came down on dd2's head Shock

There couldn't be a worse time for it to go wrong either. I hope you can get it fixed soon.

Our boiler was leaking at the weekend and was dripping through the ceiling into the kitchen. Because the pipes are boxed in into the corner, when they've been to fix it it created a bigger leak inside that boxing; this then caused some tiles to push out off the wall above the worktop and has made a right mess.

Snap! My bathroom and your bathroom must be closely related. Or else they’ve been on the same training course of “how to drive your owner to the edge”.

Up until yesterday we’d had about 6 leak free weeks. I was very tentatively thinking “success”. Should have known better and I genuinely felt like crying!

My hallway ceiling already has a hole courtesy of the bathroom leak. One of the many plumbers who have “repaired” it decided going in from the hall ceiling would be better than ripping up bathroom floor tiles. Glad to haven’t bothered to repair it yet. And I’m glad your Dd escaped injury :).
