Nurofen with infants

Hello
I have a 12 week old baby who hasnt been very well, abit of a temperature but mostly just very uncomfortable and unsettled. I gave her 1.5ml of infant nurofen 3months+ but saw on the box, do not give if under 5kg. She is a small baby and has had weight issues when born. Due to lockdown we havent been able to have her measured and now im panicking i did the wrong thing by giving it to her. Its just hard to get a hold of anyone at the moment. GP surgery is shut.

What weight was she born at? 5kg is around 11lb. Have you got paracetamol that you could use instead?

You could get a rough measure if you have bathroom scales - weigh without her, then weigh while holding her and then subtract

Could you not weigh her at home for a rough estimate? Stand on the scales with her and note down, then stand on it on your own and subtract it from the first weight. It's only rough but might put your mind at ease a bit.

Did you give 1.5ml or 2.5ml ? 2.5ml is the amount for babies over 5kg who are 3 months+

I gave her 1.5 as i am aware she is a small baby and didnt want to overdose her
