Anyone got a birthday this month?

If you've got a birthday this month, just wondering what you'd like in the way of gifts. I can definitely come up with alcohol and chocolate suggestions, buts that's about it. I'm trying to think of something which might brighten things during the restrictions improsed by the coronavirus.

No point in asking for a top for our holiday (cancelled), new item of clothing as can't buy instore or order from my usual or perfume (as I'm not going out much).

Also, how will you celebrate your day? Tescos have little pots of things like olives and other cold nibbles - if we have a half decent day I fancy sitting outside with these and a bottle of wine.

It's mine at the end of this month.
I don't usually do much anyway but am asking for a sun lounger and will be purchasing a book to go with it and heading out for the afternoon (weather permitting). Ages since I've been able to sit out with a book.

My birthday was last week and I was really touched that people remembered and sent things. One mate sent me some lovely bath salts, soap and shower gel from an independent shop local to her. A group of friends clubbed together to send me some Neal's Yard Cheeses and half a case of wine. If anyone asks what I want, I always request a book they've read and loved, and I got a couple of paperbacks, plus the new Hilary Mantel from DH. All stuff that's made lockdown a bit more tolerable.

We got a takeaway on the day from our favourite Indian place.

My birthday is not far away.
Hotel Chocolat sent me an email with some discounted Easter chocolate. I showed this to DH. He's apparently already bought something.
I really wanted the chocolate.
It's going to be a non event, despite being a significant number.

@Biensur40 I’m deadly serious

Had it already this month. Am WFH so actually able to appreciate all the flowers I've had delivered.

Things I would have appreciated that are achievable in lockdown:
Not having to make my own dinner or wash up
Not having to source my own cake
Nice wine
Not having to run around cleaning the house the day before to make sure I could spend my birthday in nice surroundings.
A big planter for the patio and enough soil/compost that I can plant my new plants (or someone else to do that for me).

@Bloodybridget Hey, birthday twin Grin

Myself and DDs normally have a buffet night for Eurovision so we are bringing it forward - Just the buffet, not the tunes as not sure my neighbours would appreciate our vocal talents Sad.

Hey @CheapChild! Happy birthday to you for Saturday!

DH turned 30 on Tuesday. He was working (postman) but we got a takeaway for dinner.

I turn 30 on the 12th May and DH has promised me pizza. That’s all I want, really Grin

Friends and family know that our celebration holiday next month was cancelled so they’re just giving us cash gifts to save until we can rebook, which is lovely. Neither of us are big on ‘stuff’ so it’s very considerate of them to put towards our holiday instead.

It's mine next week. I got a early laptop from my DM at easter to make home learning for the DC easier. Other then that I plan to forget it! I have reminded DH to at least order me a moonpig card but he won't, and I'm not going to keep reminding him Hmm
