To be fed up of people mentioning my height?

I'm 5 foot 3 and people seem to always mention my height! I don't think my height is unusual for a woman??

I'm the same height as you as I think I'm short. Shorter than all my friends and family anyway. But I don't care, more should you care that people mention it, it's probably an attempt at being endearing

I'm 4'11 here and my closest friend is 4'10.

It's so rare that I'm taller than anyone, that I never let her forget it!

An old bf was 6'5"...if we heard one 'joke', we heard them all. 🙄

5ft here and I rarely get comments now I’m older (perhaps because middle aged women are ‘invisible’!). I do tend to nudge DH when we see another height difference couple with a difference approaching our own (5ft and 6ft 8) - I don’t see many though!

@HaddawayAndShite I am genuinely excited to discover another person who uses the masher for window closing purposes .

I always find it odd when people ask if I mind being short. Well A, theres fuck all I can do about it and B, I don't actually know any different. It's not like i used to be 6ft and suddenly shrunk!

(B) is my response when people ask me what it's like being 5ft 1in. How the hell should I know. I didn't used to be 6ft 3 until somebody chopped me off at the knees. I've nothing to compare it with. I know what it's like to be me, that's all.

Though DP is 6ft 2, and my best male mate is 6ft 4. It's not deliberate!! But when DP and I got together, for the first year or two I got (some quite serious) comments from taller women about how I should have picked someone shorter and left him to them.

My kid is small too I hope he doesn't get all this shite lol

Yes I'm the same re trouser lengths, with petite length coming up long with me . I'm under 5ft.
The only time I feel short is when I'm in a queue and feel I'm staring at people's chests Who remembers queues
