Mine has been Indian, korean, and pizza.

It has been lovely treating ourselves twice a week.

Teenage son keeps hoping Nando's might open and start delivering

MyHipsDontLieUnfortunately · 29/04/2020 08:45

Thanks @RUSU92, I'll try it Smile

PrincessHoneysuckle · 29/04/2020 08:49

Fish and chips

Artinsurance · 29/04/2020 08:57

We've not had any, but our favourite Chinese has just reopened for deliveries so looking forward to one at the weekend 🙂🍜

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 29/04/2020 10:34

We've got covid-19, so nothing until our sense of smell comes back. Then we're getting PARMO!!!

BarbaraofSeville · 29/04/2020 11:03

We haven't had any because all the ones we like are closed as far as I know and the ones that are open are either rubbishy pizza/kebab/burger places or too far away.

We've had M&S curry and nice frozen pizza from Costco - they do the Crosta and Mollica ones and they're lovely.

I would like fish and chips or Indian street food right now, but it's not happening unfortunately.

Yankathebear · 29/04/2020 11:34

We’ve had one, pizza. It was delicious!
We don’t do it often anyway so it’s even more tasty when we do. I even got dressed up.

Picklypickles · 29/04/2020 11:39

We've only had one, there is only an Indian takeaway up the road that delivers to our village we're just outside the delivery radius for everywhere else! Luckily it is also the best Indian takeaway in the whole area but not something we want to have too often and the kids wont eat Indian food!

ChangeThePassword · 29/04/2020 11:42

I bloody love Nandos, DH not so much

Lockdown will do that to a relationship 😉

The only takeaway I've had has been from the chippy. The Chinese is reopening on Friday though, so I've been checking out the menu. Might just have to give it a go.

YouAndMeAndTheDevilMakesThree · 29/04/2020 11:44

I'm fairly rural and Domino's is the only takeway open at the moment so that's what we've been having!

oldwhyno · 29/04/2020 11:54

Indian food from an amazing place in town.

Runkatierun · 29/04/2020 12:44

We had a chinese two Saturdays in a row, they were nice but not amazing, not from our usual chinese though. Saturday just gone we had an Indian and it was amazing, I had chicken malayan, nut pilau and 1/2 peshwari naan. Rumour has it our local fish and chip is reopening on Friday and we cant wait.

For the record we dont usually have takeaways often but it has been lambing time on our farm and we have been flat out busy so we always treat ourselves in april

BirdieFriendReturns · 29/04/2020 13:22

Indian.
Dominos or Papa John’s.

bluechameleon · 29/04/2020 15:32

Local pizza place has been doing excellent value daily lunchtime deals during lockdown - e.g. 2 specific pizzas plus 2 random drinks for £10. I've been keeping an eye on them and have ordered a couple of times when it is toppings we like. We also got fish and chips once from our favourite restaurant which has been opening for pre-ordered collection at the weekends.

wildthingsinthenight · 29/04/2020 15:33

Five Guys! Really lovely

ktjerl · 29/04/2020 15:39

I must confess we usually have quite a lot of takeaways. We haven't had one since before the pubs/restaurants closed and we aren't missing it at all. We have learnt how to make a lot of the recipes ourselves. Even keema naan.
We are making curries, pizzas and Chinese food from scratch and really enjoying it.
We batch cook most of it and then portion off into the freezer.
