Anyone done any good online courses that they would recommend? Preferably free.

I want to try use my time off work to be a bit more productive and maybe even enhance my CV.

Interested to see what people have thought of online courses as there seems to be so many out there.

Futurelearn do a wide variety

I’m doing a couple of courses on Future Learn, and am about to sign up to another with Open Learn. Both are offshoots of the OU.

The free courses don’t get you anything, but there seems to be ways you can (pay and) gave some units count towards actual qualifications. And I think you can pay for certificates of participation too

Duolingo is good if you want to try your hand at a second language. Dp is Polish, and speaks fluent English but I’d love to be able to have a conversation with him in his native tongue. It’s good fun too!

I posted a thread about this very subject today, too (spooky emoticon). Bumping as I'm really interested to know what fun/enriching stuff people are learning online.

There is a new batch of work related courses called Skillset released today to help those wanting to up skill during furlough or facing redundancy, or simply to retrain.
