Hello - feeling a bit lonely. Work has dried up but I’m tied to desk as it is a helpline. I’ve done all the training I could possibly do. Boredom is bad, but I’m also lonely.

I know that I’m very lucky to have a job that is stable for the moment and being paid. I also don’t live alone so am seeing others but actually at my desk alone and it’s getting me a little down.

Hello. I've felt things beginning to get me down a bit this week as well. I think I'm as anxious about what will happen when we come out of this as about the lockdown itself because my adult daughter is in the shielded group.

If you are on Facebook there is a group called View From my Window, which is what is says - photos from people all around the world experiencing the same thing but in very different places. Some have amazing views of tropical beaches (or have posted their holiday photos instead) some have cosy back yards, some have just a brick wall or someone else's window. I'd recommend having a look, it gets you out of yourself and I think it is somehow unifying that all over the planet we are riding this crisis out and missing normality, albeit some in more comfort than others.

@NoMorePoliticsPlease even replying is fine. It shows there is someone else out there.

@ CaptainMyCaptain Thanks I’ll have a look at Facebook. I feel like I want to run into the street and talk to anyone. (Won’t be doing that and live in a village so no one apart from DParents. It is a bit like a bubble.

Also worried that they won’t need as many of us at work.
