This has been driving me round the bend for days as I can’t remember which programme it was, who the stars were or even whether it was male or female in the boat. But I know it is such a well known scene that surely someone will be able to put me out if my misery!
A couple having a picnic on a river bank, then one of them gets into a rowing boat thinking the other will follow. Except they don’t, they remain on the riverbank for some peace. I have a vague memory of audience laughter so it may have been a comedy, but I’m not 100% convinced.
Please does anyone know what I’m talking about?!
