I'm going slightly out of my mind entertaining my 18 month old.
In between working 30 hours each and schooling his 2 siblings, DH and I are trying to keep our very energetic boy occupied. We have a good sized garden with a sand pit and various balls. He hates the trampoline and can't manage a little trike or scooter yet.
In the house we are constantly building towers, brumming cars and helping colour with crayons, but there are only so many times I can hear his toot toot cars singing and pretend to be a dinosaur before I want to weep. He likes to read the same 4 books over and over. Won't watch TV except maybe half a Mr Tumble if he's tired.
We do try and do sensory stuff, water play, rice trays etc, but that still leaves 10 hours of the day to fill.
What are you doing with your toddler all day?
I miss the playground and the library so much!
