Passport delivered to wrong house ,now missing

So my passport was approved mid February,and I still have not received it.
I have phoned the passport office numerous times ,I’ve had them fill in 3 complaint forms ,weeks and weeks of no one getting back to me.
Now it turns out the delivery company have provided a photo of the house they posted it to ,and it’s not mine .....
It’s gone to a house in an Area with police round A lot .
It’s gone round the corner,so who ever has it ,could of walked round and posted it back ,but hasn’t ...this was delivered on 20 feb ,so way before virus ..
They are clearly not giving it back ...
So what exactly can they do fraud wise with my passport,do I need to worry?

Have you told the passport office it was delivered to the wrong address? It will need to be reported as lost to them

So yes, get on to the passport agency, and also perhaps have a chat with police on the 101 number. If the occupants have held on to the passport, it might be classed as stolen?

Ring the passport office, cancel it and they'll send you another.

I'd speak to the Passport office and maybe even see if it's something that the police could do anything about. It needs to be cancelled asap.
