What are these?

They've been sat on my kitchen windowsill for forever, no idea what they are. Can't throw them away bc I keep thinking "I'll realise what they are and that I'll need them one day"
DP thinks they're a nozzle for icing a cake, but they're not.

What are these?

Use Google image search op.

Cityonlockdown · 27/04/2020 08:45

They look like something from medicine syringes/bottles.

dementedpixie · 27/04/2020 08:49

Are they caps for an in ear thermometer?

SpillTheTeaa · 27/04/2020 08:49

Have you got a pocket mask? It looks like the valve to one of them.

dementedpixie · 27/04/2020 08:50

May be too thick for that though

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 27/04/2020 08:51

They look like the things you get with kids medics to put into the neck of the bottle so you can string out the right dose

tupperwaretowers · 27/04/2020 08:52

Are they the inside of a Nurifen bottle, you know the ones that fit a syringe in?

Fleeflyyflooo · 27/04/2020 08:55

There the caps that come with syringes. Had these with my daughters medicine. You insert them into the bottle then put syringe into them

Qcng · 27/04/2020 08:56

I did already ask Google. It brings up medical/bathroom/other weird pictures but no actual match

Hmm, all of these replies are helping me think...
I am thinking something of a "medical" nature. Definitely looks like they might belong coming out of some sort of bag or balloon thing.

scrumpledtitskin · 27/04/2020 08:57

Or are they inserts for blowing up a paddling pool?

Qcng · 27/04/2020 08:58

Fleefly that would make perfect sense bc I have a young child. Weird I can't remember using them at all, maybe that's why they're just left lying around!

They are syringe adapters for bottles. I often use them when giving medicine to DS.

Qcng · 27/04/2020 09:01

Yes I just checked my Calpol and the top of it is almost identical, so I definitely think they must have come with a cough syrup or something so you have the option to syringe the amount out rather than pour.

Thanks Mumnet!

Still don't know if I should know if I should keep them 😅

I use these. They are bottle stops to use a syringe into a bottle without spilling.
