Blaring music in the back garden - why???

Next door neighbour has music blaring loudly in his garden. I just dont get this - what is it about sunshine that makes some people crank it right up to 11? Play music if you want but if you live in a row of terraced houses rather than the middle of a field, maybe keep it down a bit!

I do feel lucky because:

  • hes generally a very pleasant bloke
  • I have a garden to sit in
  • its actually decent music, not shite
  • I would rather this all day long than the sound of screaming kids or barking dogs

But still..... it's just unnecessary isnt it?

The 'music' is awful btw. Makes it even worse...along with the effing thumping base.

Such a twatty thing to do.

If it's a one off, or the occasional party, then fair enough, but it's still annoying.

Having said that I think some people just don't realise how far noise carries.

We have neighbours like this. Mr next door will turn it down if asked. However Mrs next door will just tell you to fuck off and then have a loud conversation via video call outside her front door and tell you to fuck off again if you ask her to keep it down because it's 1am and we're trying to sleep. It's actually getting really tiresome.

My ndn has his radio on from 5am-8pm every day, loudly!! Mainly some talk show/news, never music.

The radio is in the kitchen, he keeps his door opened all the time so we can hear it through opened windows, when in the garden etc, the last few hot days he has taken the radio into the garden with him, then complains if our dog squeaks his toys!!Shock

I really fail to understand how people don't use earphones, either bluetooth, in ear or over the head.

The sound is so much clearer. And with bluetooth you can take calls on the phone too. But anyway, I will never understand it.
