3 item limits on Asda

Boring question - if you are ordering from Asda which has the three item limit, can you get round it by ordering for example three 4 pints of semi skimmed milk and three 4 points of skimmed?

Not trying to be a hoarder, we’ve had our delivery with Tesco cancelled at the last minute (and I’ve been waiting two bloody weeks for it), my Mum has an Asda delivery booked in for this coming week and is going to try and get us as much as she can, I’m just trying to work out if we’d get the above or if it would be cancelled.

We’re all in the vulnerable group and would collect shopping from a distance from her etc before anyone shouts at me!!

That would work, yes. I think they've lifted the limit though

Amazing, I just checked the app and it looks like you’re right!! It’s been a few weeks since our last delivery so I didn’t know. That certainly makes life much easier. Thank you so much!

No limits except on eggs, flour, baby formula, hand wash when I was there this week. That’s rubbish of Tesco though. Makes you feel vulnerable when you can’t rely on getting the things you need.

That’s good to know, eggs, flour and hand wash we need but I’m sure we’ll get enough between us.

Yes u can do that with the milk. I had missed my order so my mum added milk to hers for me but because she already had 2L milks in basket she had to order 3L bottles for me instead.

Yes, I did it with pizza, just picked the same brand but different flavour and it went through. Ive given up with Tesco, the queue for the store is massive regardless of the day or time of day and the click and collect minimum order is more than i need to spend.

Even if the limits hadn’t been lifted the order wouldn’t have been cancelled; you just wouldn’t have been able to select what they didn’t want you to.

Some things are limited. Beans are, I could order 3 individual tins only but could also order a 4 pack ( not that it was in stock later).
