I really don’t know where to post this...my nearly 9 year olds friends are playing together online via Roblox & are asking her to join (when they FaceTime). I don’t know anything about this app but I am reading around it - does anyone have any safety tips? Is it really suitable for an 8 year old? How can I protect her if I let her join in? Any tips would be greatly appreciated, she’s really not into gaming (minecraft is lost on all of us) but she’s aware her friends are playing together on this game while they’re all shut away from eachother & wants to join in for that reason.

You can disable a lot of the features on it, like chat etc. most games are harmless but there is the odd one that's not appropriate and contain knives which I really hate tbh, I wish they didn't allow games like that. I'd say if you was going to allow her to play then you need to supervise. A lot of kids do play it . There is a feature on there that you can set a pin and it blocks a lot of games that are for a certain age or something, but it also blocks some of the harmless games too
