I'm being a terrible mother today.

I just cannot be arsed being a 'good' mother today. I've been doing 90% of the childcare all week as DH has been working. So even though it's a beautiful day out there, Dd and I are slumped on the couch eating icecream instead of eating vegetables and having an improving walk.

I feel guilty, but not guilty enough to get up off my arse and wrestle DD away from that Pig bitch.

Anyone else?

DH and the DC have been packed off into the garden while I live on our bed watching Love Never Dies and eating my bodyweight in Malteasers.

So yeah....

Self-care is important though Wink

That pig bitch 😄

I’ve left my two (12 & 9) to it so far today - we’re all just thoroughly relieved that the week is over so no need to wrestle with home school. We’ll go out for a walk later but for now I’m in the hammock enjoying the sunshine 😎

Oh yes, self-care sounds so much better than being a lazy- arsed selfish scut. Nice one!

Oh god every day.

Mine got themselves up and had their weekend tablet time. I surfaced at 10 and went for a run.

I did make some lunch which had both fruit and veg but then packed them out of the house for a bike ride.

I am now painting my toenails whilst lying on the trampoline in the sun

It's my daughters birthday today. She woke us up at 5am, that is after DH getting up at 3 for a wee.

She is upstairs on her computer, DH is in his office probably on Mumsnet and I am had asleep on the sofa.
