Inspired by last week I bought orange bitters so I can make a jockey club tomorrow

I’ve just made a jockey club

This is gin, amaretto, lemon juice and orange and angostura bitters

I think it may have a negroni like effect. Tastes nice but not for the faint hearted.

Proportions @RJnomore1 please!!!

50ml dry gin
20ml amaretto
15 ml lemon juice
Dash of the two bitters
You can add sugar syrup if you like

Then wait for your head to blow off 😬

Straight spiced rum here. Old Monk, from India. It's very nice - peppery.

Emtpied the prosecco bottle, martinis again I think.....

Cripes not before bed, think I'm getting old :D I did have some apple jack daniels and Pepsi max though, I hardly every drink anymore, but DH is back just for the night so have an excuse!

I made an 'isolation sour' last night, am on Jim Beam & coke tonight. I do love an espresso martini though - will definitely be making one next weekend!

Isolation sour:

Double shot of whisky
1 egg white
Shot of sugar syrup
Half a shot of lemon juice

Shake with ice, pour into glass, float red wine on top over the back of a spoon

Tastes much nicer than it should!!

I’m going to order sugar syrup

@RJnomore1 it's really easy to make - equal parts sugar and water (I use one cup of each), bring to boil and simmer gently for 10 mins - done! Keep in the fridge
