I must have caught it some how. Its on my back so can't see it very well.
Do I need to bother a Dr?

I've caught 2 of mine in the last couple of months - one on my bra strap and one on my necklace.

I just dabbed with antiseptic and left them alone. They stopped bleeding pretty quickly though.

Yes, proper moles. Unfortunately my back is covered in them.

Over the years I've caught quite a few of them and made them bleed. I've mentioned it in the past to my GP when she's been checking them and she said I did the right thing. She said either clean with antiseptic and leave well alone or if the bleeding doesn't stop for a while, cover with a dressing/plaster.

I once knocked 1/3 of a mole loose walking sideways into a door frame Hmm, it bleed a lot and hurt. Couldn't get an appointment with the plastic surgeon for three weeks. It continued to bleed a little until a couple of days before the appointment and when it was finally seen, he just shrugged his shoulders said it now looked fine and send me home.

My point being if your mole hasn't changed and is only bleeding because of the tag, it is okay just to disinfect it. In the long run ask your gp for a referral to have it removed and checked.
