This isn't a crazy unhealthy breakfast, right?

I've been baking a ton recently, like the rest of the world, usually with fruit to use up from the veg box. We've been having it for breakfast with natural yoghurt. Eg this morning we had a banana tahini muffin with a couple of spoonfuls of natural yoghurt.

This seems fine, right? Not the healthiest but not the unhealthiest either? I think I just feel a bit weird because it is 'cake'...

Tahini is a bit calorific but sounds fine - and delicious-to me.

Doesn't sound any worse than any of the 'acceptable' breakfast foods like toast and jam, croissant, coco pops or frosties, donuts and hot chocolate in Spain.

It's what you eat overall that matters, not any individual meal.

Sounds fine to me, I usually have a nibble on some cake with my morning tea before my 'proper' breakfast.

Which is usually brunch as it takes the edge off my appetite!

At least you're using up your fruit and having it with bio yogurt

Banana and tahini muffins? Could we have a recipe please?

Sausage, Bacon, Fried Egg, Mushroom, Beans and 3 rounds of Buttered Toast is unhealthy.
A muffin and some yoghurt not so much.

I adapted this recipe - I don't bother with the topping and bake for 20-25 minutes instead of 50 for the cake version

Sounds fine to me. I've discovered Nutella and can't get enough of it.... Now that's unhealthy. It's so good on toast and some days I put some banana and icing sugar on it 😂😂 I'm going to be the size of my house.

cake and yogurt, as mentioned what many in the Med have for breakfast. In my experience makes for extreme hunger an hour later, as the sugar just whizzes through.

just because it is called a muffin doesn't change the fact that it is a cake. Cake is of course food and no food is unhealthy.
