Severe PMS

Does anyone else go through this each month?
I feel like the week before my period is ruining my life. I feel dreadful- a mixture of intense nauseating anxiety, irritable and can get furiously angry quite quickly, tearful and depressed.

I’m 27 with 2 DC, I feel like it’s only been this intense for the past couple of years.

Is there any way to cope with it? Do any contraceptives put a stop to it? I track my cycles and literally live in dread of PMS week :(

I have it for at least two weeks every month, though while i am irritable and tearful i am most bothered by mastalgia. I have not tried anything that works. My otherwise wonderful Gynacologist shrugged and said it is a nuisance and suggested the mirena coil but I am now 47 so didn't want to chance making it worse. My PMT has only been bad for 10 years though. I think at 27 I would be prepared to take a chance.

In the meantime I have recently found that this is working to lessen the length of time of suffering. I am taking it for the omega 3 and vit d so it has been a happy coincidence.

Currently pregnant but I used to take a vitamin b12 and krill oil everyday for my pms. Took about a month or so of taking both everyday before it started to work but it was life changing! My symptoms were just like yours OP
