I think my watch battery needs replacing

I've got a guarantee on the battery so f hinds will replace it for free but is it possible or safe to get it done at the moment. If not is there anywhere selling really cheap watches at the moment that will last me until I can safely get my watch battery replaced?

Take it to your local supermarket, see if there's a Timpsons open there?

Otherwise you can mailorder a cheap digital for well under a tenner, analogue for £20. Or just use your phone for the time.

(Timpsons are the popular franchise around here - I mean the ones with a little booth who'll do watches, leather repairs, shoe soles etc)

Can you open the back? Amazon sell watch batteries. I'm not sure a guarantee would cover it.

I just had the same thing happen and I ordered a cheap one to last until I can get it changed.
