Ideas for picture round.....go!

Have been tasked with setting the quiz questions this week. Always start with a picture round but stuck for ideas. I want to do art/artists/self portraits but dh says that's too serious and high brow and needs to be something lighthearted. Any ideas??

Celebrity siblings?

Stills from films of a particular era (say 80s) - identify the film from the still.

Pics of real life people as depicted in film (so Michelle Williams as Marilyn - easy; Toby Jones as Truman Capote - hard).

Film posters with the title blocked out.

Where in the world? (Pic of a well-known landmark)

They were doing cut up chocolate bars on BBC breakfast this morning.

That's what I'm doing when it's my turn to set the questions in the online quiz that I'm involved in.

Apologies, it was in the Daily Mail, but this looks perfect to me:

Oh we've done the chocolate one! Good idea though!

Like the idea of celeb sisters

Titles - so Kings/queens, princes/princesses or captains etc. You can combine cartoon/fictional characters and real people so can be good for a range of ages.

Best picture round I ever took part in was called ‘art or crap’. Photos of contemporary art interspersed with bits of random junk and you had to guess which was which.

Album covers with the title and/or artist removed?

Sliceofrice · 24/04/2020 11:09

Close up images. Google close up banana and you will see what I mean. Some are surprisingly tricky

Album covers, actresses/actors, celebrity couples, famous scenes from movies, if you all live in the same place then pics of local landmarks/places of interest.

FizzyPink · 24/04/2020 11:34

I did a great one where the person doing the quiz had taken screenshots of movie scenes and then in place of the actors faces had added those of the quiz participants. You then had to guess the film

Can you get a child to draw famous landmarks or celebs and then people have to guess what they are. If you don’t have a child on hand then draw with your feet or draw on the computer on Microsoft paint?
