And, yes, I fucking hope this will end! Pardon the swearing, please, but I'm not having the best of days myself here, either.
Friend and I have been joking that we could always swing by the local hospital and snog a few patients, get ill, recover and be immune and hopefully able to go about our lives.
... then experts started doubting whether immunity is even a thing.
But, yes, this will eventually come to an end. There will eventually be a vaccine. Or we will find a treatment that works really well. And, even if neither of those happen, at some point we will have to get back to normal and accept that this is now part of what "normal" means anyway.
On the upside, several studies suggest that a lot more people have had this than previously assumed. Which also means that it's less deadly than previously assumed. That's still deadly - just that most people will survive without major issues.
Yes, things will be normal again eventually.
And, also, yes, life sucks balls until then. Chin up! We'll cope somehow!
