I think it looks like Egyptian cotton by Dulux (I have this in my living room). But it's probably a fancy f&b one.

Tweet him and ask?

GreyishDays · 23/04/2020 21:16

I think that room is very light though. Is there a roof lantern maybe or just big lights? I’d wonder if the same paint might look different in a normal room.

I don’t think it’s Egyptian cotton, we’ve got it in our bedroom and it’s very beige (lovely colour though!)

Ooh a few replies! Thanks for the suggestions. Have asked on Twitter 🙂

Oh I hope he replies, I really want to know what it is too. It's not Egyptian cotton as I have it in my living room at the moment. If he replies can you let us know?!

EffYouSeeKaye · 23/04/2020 22:14

I think it’s Cornforth White or Ammonite (F&B). Possibly Elephant’s breath but that is more of a beige grey.

Freddiefox · 23/04/2020 23:15

I think it Egyptian cotton as well, as it looks the same as ours

Mixingitall · 23/04/2020 23:18

I am certain the walls are Farrow and Ball Cornforth White and the woodwork is Ammonite. On a colour chart they are next to one another and work well together. I have Cornforth White in a bedroom and Ammonite in my living room with Moles Breath as a much darker feature wall.

Mixingitall · 23/04/2020 23:19

Farrow and Ball brochures also show many rooms with the same paint on the woodwork and wall. It looks good.

Mammabear31 · 24/04/2020 12:47

@EffYouSeeKaye of course! I hope he does!

Mole breath sounds horrible! Who names these things. Sure it looks lovely!

blossomberry · 24/04/2020 13:01

I would say it’s Cornforth White by Farrow and Ball as well, looks identical to the colour of my kitchen.

Needallthesleep · 24/04/2020 13:36

I think it’s Cornforth White. Ammonite is a lot lighter.

MitziK · 24/04/2020 13:55

I'm surprised Egyptian Cotton is still a thing. I painted my old council flat living room with it sometime around 2004/5

It would definitely be a slightly cheaper way of getting the same colour, as he's likely to have bought a more expensive version of it (don't forget there's a very pale carpet and lots of professional lighting in the room to make sure it looks as light as possible).

Mixingitall · 24/04/2020 15:06

Pogmella, you are correct, the names are questionable!
