Can’t get apps because I don’t have Touch ID.

I go to install an app and the only way I can get it is via Touch ID. This has happened to me twice now. I don’t have Touch ID so why is that the only way in offered?

I want to get Google Arts and Culture. What can I do?

Do you have a phone which supports Touch ID?

What’s your phone type. If it’s an Apple go to SETTINGS, GENERAL, ABOUT. And it will tell you what model you have.

It only gives you the option to authorise downloads if you have Touch ID set up.
Otherwise, you just enter your password.

So if you have an iPhone 7,8 you will have Touch ID even if you aren’t using it. If you don’t want to set it up, you go to SETTINGS, TOUCH ID & PASSCODE and then un click the wee green button that allows for using Touch ID for installing Apps.

Why not set up touchID though? You can still use your passcode when you do, but touchID is just a real time saver.
