Reading glasses. With panache? And what about those chains too? How to do it stylishly...

Help me.

I need reading glasses because my arms are no longer long enough! (or rather, I can't take the comments any more from dh and my sister!)

But I don't want any old reading glasses. I love makeup and I love earrings and I have a certain style I suppose, and I don't know how to add in reading glasses. But how to do reading glasses stylishly? I'm thinking I need different frames for different days/looks.

Where do you get yours? What do they look like? What do you do with them when you don't need them?
Why do I want a monacle instead?

I've also got a weird thing about sunglasses covering my eyebrows. I'm thinking I feel the same about any other specs....

Have you had an eye test? That's your first port of call - find out exactly what you need. Off the shelf specs might be OK, they might not so you do need to go to the opticians. Then, it's just a matter of trying them on. If they are for reading only, you really don't need any more than 2 pairs - one for home, one for the handbag.

Pru Leith's a v.stylish lady and sometimes has her glasses on a chain. Check her out.

My boss pulled it off brilliantly. She was very stylish, glasses were cool - part of the look. Just go for it, get glasses with some personality!
