Bruce Willis and Demi Moore isolate together

I'm a bit unmotivated today, read this and thought it was quite interesting on a couple of levels.

Firstly, it could be argued that Bruce's wife has drawn the short straw stuck in LA with two young kids on her own whilst he gets to hang out with other adults! I'm sure many of us are in that situation! Thoughts?

Secondly...isolating with your ex. Yes they've been apart for years and he's been happily remarried for a long time but I wondered how the average person would feel in this circumstance? Would you be bothered or not? I'm not in a situation where this could happen so have no real world view!

I thought it was weird he was isolating with Demi and their grown up children whilst his wife is alone with their young children. Seems a bit unfair on her!

Must be some reason for it though.

Brogley · 23/04/2020 15:49

I'm sure I read that his wife and two young children were supposed to be coming to join them so that both families were isolating together in the same house but travel restrictions came in before his wife could get there so now they're stuck in separate locations.

We Now Finally Know Why Bruce Willis Is Locked Down With Demi Moore Instead Of His Wife And Youngest Daughters buzzfeed.com/benhenry/bruce-willis-demi-moore-quarantining-together

Well getting professional haircuts won’t be a problem. They will be able to shave each other’s heads.

ravenmum · 23/04/2020 15:59

Looks like they get on fine from the pictures. As the new wife I'd be silently screaming Grin
Looks like fun. Why can't he be locked down with me by accident? The son holding the small dog would definitely get on with my kids.

Gilead · 23/04/2020 16:43

Doesn’t seem odd to me, my first husband is my best friend. Has been for 40 odd years.

LochJessMonster · 23/04/2020 19:04

Ah that makes sense!

EachandEveryone · 23/04/2020 19:12

Shes not a new wife they've been together ten years.

Fedupandpoor · 23/04/2020 19:16

Bloody hell, so the six year old stabbed herself with a needle. Dad fucked off to stay with his ex wife before the test results came in, so the new wife stayed alone with the two kids. If one of them started a thread on mn we'd all say it was a troll or call ss.

JacobReesMogadishu · 23/04/2020 19:20

I don’t think the lockdown is that strict in the USA that he couldn’t buy or rent a car and drive home. I appreciate there might be long distance involved but if he wanted to get back to his younger kids he could.

I have friends in America and they’re still driving about from one state to another.

VladmirsPoutine · 23/04/2020 19:22

If I was the new wife I'd set him on fire. This is neither cute nor fair. He's a twat for this.

LittleRa · 23/04/2020 19:31

@EachandEveryone Did anyone above you say she was a new wife?

LittleRa · 23/04/2020 19:32

@EachandEveryone Ah the post a couple above you. The OP and most of the others didn’t say “new wife”.

myrtleWilson · 23/04/2020 19:32

@littlera yes, ravenmum did....

According to the article both Bruce and Emma the not new wife agreed that he would go ahead and she would follow so not sure he 'fucked off'

silenceofthemams · 23/04/2020 19:34

The plan was that they'd all be together, mum, dad, kids, stepmum.

I've seen his wife posting very supportive messages on their Instagram photos, and apparently she has a very good relationship with Demi Moore.

If it's working for them, why not? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ginger1982 · 23/04/2020 19:43

"According to the article both Bruce and Emma the not new wife agreed that he would go ahead and she would follow so not sure he 'fucked off'"

I totally get that but things suddenly changing like that and his wife and younger kids not being able to come, do you not think he would go home?

VladmirsPoutine · 23/04/2020 19:47

Then NEWER wife then. @myrtleWilson

myrtleWilson · 23/04/2020 19:48

there is a stay at home order in Idaho until 30th April, there are lots of threads on here saying no to people asking AIBU to go and collect my daughter from London as she's sad and wants to come home. I'd imagine being high profile resident he wouldn't want the backwash of breaking the stay at home order...?
