cancel jet2 holiday for end of july deposit paid...??

we have booked for croatia for end of july, have paid the £300 deposit, balance of £3000 due in a few weeks...really think we should just cancel and lose the deposit....cant find any info on net about this...has anyone booked with jet2 and cancelled or taking a chance etc...have used the credit card just in case etc....many thanks.

Travel Republic cancelled our 4th June holiday last week. Ours had been fully paid.

They advise we will get a refund if we want it by end of July.

We would be happy just moving dates to same week 2021 but the flights dont appear to have been released so its showing as unavailable. So I suspect we will go for refund, draw a line under it, and see what life is like in 2021.

Tried calling Jet2 holidays to cancel as Cyprus has gone on the red list been on the telephone for 2 hours now for least 6 times and no reply from them, do I just not pay the final balance of my holiday and lose the deposit am I responsible for the outstanding amount? can find out

Hi we have similar booked for Cyprus in September changed from earlier booked holiday.
Have you received an e mail about changing your payment date for final amount.
If you log onto manage my booking you should be able to do that.
We have changed final invoice until August so have time to work out what to do.

Hi yes I changed the payment date but it is now due on Monday 12 July and won't let me defer it any longer. It also will not let me cancel on line.

We did a change through the jetbot system.
It allowed us to transfer booking to a later date without charge but we had to pay new price which is more.
Looking through the conversation there was a press one to cancel press two to amend menu so may be worth checking out see what this system comes up with.
It's still showing Cyprus as an Amber destination
