I dread to think what the High Street is going to look like in 2021. Jack Wills and Gap have just closed here earlier this year, now Oasis, Warehouse and Cath Kidson. House of Fraser, Boots and M&S have been struggling in recent times. For some reason our Superdrug is always very quiet, not sure of the position over the UK for that one. Which other shops could possibly go? Also, which pubs, cafes, restaurants will survive?
Part of House of Fraser and top floors of a couple of shops not being used, where was being considered for apartments, but whether that'll happen now. More people living in town would have generated more income for those shops left.
