I just got one for 17 May, West Yorkshire.

OP posts:
Zisforstripyoss · 22/04/2020 09:43

Nothing round here in east midlands. It doesn't even go up to the 17th.

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 22/04/2020 09:47

Tuesday 19th dates have just appeared on mine (south east)

Murinae · 22/04/2020 09:49

Thanks for that I just got one too for mid May.

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 22/04/2020 09:50

Glad you posted about this. They seem to have released a whole week's worth of slots in one go

NoSoapAndGory · 22/04/2020 09:55

Thank you OP 🙏 just got one in Hertfordshire for 17th May.

Murinae · 22/04/2020 09:55

I missed my usual Thursday slot though was going to stay up till midnight tomorrow for Thursday14th May. Now only managed to get Sat 16th May.

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 22/04/2020 09:57

Murinae - same here

ExclamationPerfume · 22/04/2020 09:58

I'm shielding and haven't been able to get one. Ours only go up to 12th May.

SinglePringle · 22/04/2020 09:59

I say this on every one of these... if you can go to the supermarket (ie, not shielded / sheilding / lone parent with children that can’t be left / shopping for a shielded person), please please please do.

I have highly vulnerable parents who are registered with all the supermarkets / government etc who cannot get slots.

Thank you.

GreenPlum · 22/04/2020 10:17

I can't see beyond May 12th

ExclamationPerfume · 22/04/2020 10:29

I've just called Tesco only people with the delivery saver will be seeing past 12th May. I have tried for the past 4 nights at midnight and got nothing.

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 22/04/2020 11:29

Oh that makes sense.

Keepthebloodynoisedown · 22/04/2020 11:37

Thanks for this op. Managed to get 17th may in Herts.

GreenPlum · 22/04/2020 11:38

Ah ok thanks!

BikeRunSki · 22/04/2020 12:20

@SinglePringle - I booked a slot for my mum. She’s single, widowed, shielding and 250 miles away. I have felt utterly for the last month, she’s been relying on her neighbours, so this is the least I can do for her.

OP posts:
SinglePringle · 22/04/2020 12:23

You’ll see I said ‘shopping for someone who is sheilded’.

ScarfLadysBag · 22/04/2020 12:24

Yes they seem to have brought in some priority slots now for delivery saver customers so you can see a week ahead! Good news!

TheFairyCaravan · 22/04/2020 12:29

I've just got one for the 16th May. I'm in the East Midlands

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 22/04/2020 12:54

Pringle - people know. There's no need to come on these threads to advise people. It comes across as very preachey. It's not like people are going to cancel slots just because you've posted your advice.
It also makes people feel guilty for booking slots they need. While technically not disabled, or in any of your listed categories, I have my reasons why I need a slot.

SinglePringle · 22/04/2020 13:00

Don’t care if it’s preachy TBF. People should feel guilty for taking slots IF they are able to go to a supermarket (baring the provisos listed) if it means they are taking away a slot from (for example) elderly people with terminal cancer.

AbsolomChautney · 22/04/2020 15:08

Weirdly I got one for tomorrow off the back off this. Thank you!

Murinae · 23/04/2020 09:19

I refuse to feel guilty for booking slots. I have a chronic heart condition, get a free flu jab and am at risk but not on the shielding list. I’m also getting things for my 90 year old neighbour and leaving them on her doorstep. I have had a delivery saver for years and I’m glad loyal customers are getting some priority after the vulnerable have had their pick of slots.

ExclamationPerfume · 23/04/2020 09:43

@Murinae the vulnerable aren't getting the pick though that's the problem. I have waited up the last 4 nights. I am on the shielding list. No slots are coming up available for me.

RedElephants · 23/04/2020 12:59

I got a click and collect yesterday off the back of this. Thank OP.

I'm reasonably healthy for 53, although I'm on medication for T2 diabetes and Hypertension..
I shop for my family of now 4 adults, all key Workers!!
Self Isolating parents who are 76 with asthma and 80 who has pulmonary fibrosis of the lungs and Dementia (he is extremely fragile weighs 7'2oz)
and my self isolating 85 yr old MiL..

I assume that I'm allowed a click & collect, or aren't we ill enough??

Sometimes these threads are a bit like the school playground, in a
"I have more wrong with me than you" way.

How do you define who is the more needy of a space.

Be kind..always
