Elianor Oliphand is Completely Fine.

Without giving too much away it's a really, really good read. About a young woman who has had a terrible childhood and is quite 'odd' due to that...but as we read, we see her slowly begin to come out of the past and into the present and it's terribly uplifting. The horrible past isn't really discussed much....you just know it was there.

Sorry it's Oliphant not Oliphand! www.goodreads.com/book/show/31434883-eleanor-oliphant-is-completely-fine

I'm enjoying Mum and Dad , by Joanna Trollope , very middle class but she is good at characters

Just finishing That Day In June by Martina Reilly. Easy to read but tackles homelessness and mental health.
Not read any of hers before but have really enjoyed it.

I just finished Do you dream of Terra-Two by Temi Oh.

It's technically a YA book but I enjoyed it for a bit of light relief.
I just wish it had been longer and continued the story a bit more.

The 10,000 doors of January and the starless sea were both great!
Also enjoyed The Binding but felt so much more could have been done with it!!
