Do I need to see a doctor?

Obviously I'd rather not but I have no idea what's wrong with me...

About 5 days ago I woke up with a sore throat, headache and sore, blocked ears. Took paracetamol and felt OK for the next couple of days.

(Background- my ears have been itchy and feeling a bit blocked for a few months but never found the time to get them checked. I also had a horrible mucus cough in Feb which has left me with catarrh / mucus on my chest.)

Yesterday afternoon the ear pain came back with a vengeance (both ears) along with a headache up the back of my head. Took paracetamol and had dinner. About an hour later had a very upset stomach and then was sick several times. Finally got to sleep after managing to keep an anti-nausea tablet down.

I do have a sensitive stomach but I don't think it was noro or food poisoning as those affect me worse.

No earache this morning but ears still feel blocked.

Any ideas? Could it all be related or could the vomiting just be random? Should add I've had no temp to speak of at any time.

Any advice gratefully received!

Call your gp - you will probably have a phone consultation

When I had gastroenteritis it weirdly started with those cold symptoms, sore throat, blocked ears, aching muscles and feeling hot and sweaty.

Then on day 2 I had a very bad upset stomach, day 3 I started throwing up and then for the next few days I had D & V together and couldn't keeping anything down.

Just try and rest and keep hydrated!

For blocked ears you need to put warm olive oil every day for a couple of weeks.
