Leftover stuffing- this won't damage us will it?!

We made far too much packet sage and onion stuffing mix on Saturday, and planning to have the leftovers tonight with leftover chicken legs and roast potatoes.

Any idea why the pack says to consume stuffing within 1 day once cooked?! It's only flour, onion and herbs. Is it just to cover their backs?

It will be fine right?! Reheating it at 200 for 15 mins...

Nah it’ll be fine!

I'd 💯 eat that.

Great.

Just seems strange it says 1 day, when other things would advertise themselves as lasting longer!

Maybe as it will dry out the longer it is left?

Like leftover wine, leftover stuffing is one of those unbelievable things. Just doesn't happen. Wink

Maybe the within one day thing is because they're assuming you've stuffed it up the chickens holey bit?

Brakebackcyclebot · 20/04/2020 20:04

I often gave cold stuffing sandwiches with pickle after a roast and wouldn't even think of there being a problem after only 2 days in the fridge!
