In memory of Victoria Wood who died 4 years ago today, FAR too young.

Please share your favourite sketches, songs and quotes, not least to keep us all amused during the current weirdness.

I'll start with one of my favourites, the legendary Kitty:

The cross channel swimmer sketch reduces me to tears everytime.

My friend and I regularly do:
Two soups
Can you see it? Is it on the trolley?
Raspberry yoghurt and a meat n potato pie
Cacherel perfume seller
Totally bona fido
Beat me on the bottom with a womans weekly.

I was in the cafeteria here and a woman sat down with a prune yoghurt … and I speak as I find so I said, ‘What’s that terrible smell?’.

She said … ‘That’s Ma Griffe’.

I said, ‘Well it wants washing’.

If I have already said this upthread I apologise but:
Aren't prawns an aphrodisiac?

It’s so true about the bonding effect of red cabbage and other Victoria Woodisms. A new friend this week said “could I buffalo?” and I knew I liked her!

I was watching the TV adaptation of Case Histories. Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie books and Victoria Wood appeared playing a security guard ex cop. Was lovely to see her

I recently got a lovely bad with VW catchphrases on https://thecabaretgeek.com/product/looking-for-me-friend-cotton-shopper/ (unfortunatly the cabaret isn't anywhere near me) and it gives me a smile every time

I have the same print on a tea towel.

If you Google "Jimmy Baker's audition That Day we sang" a YouTube video from a musical Victoria Wood wrote and composed should come up on YouTube. The dialogue before he sings is brilliant and the song is beautiful in my opinion. Such a great musical.
There's another song in that about The Berni Inn which is great too. Such a fab, heartwarming musical.
