Watching the one hit wonders show on bbc4 and the video for "eye level" Simon park orchestra is quite something!

NOT cool flares 70's but very much "dad 70's" With outgrown crew cuts rather than proper 70's long hair, brown trousers and burnt orange shirts

I love most things 70's but this is probably more accurate in terms of the real fashions then that I seem to forget

I never saw van der Valk but my parents watched it, where it strikes memories for me as I'm sure for many on mn...playing it on recorded!

The 70s were the decade style forgot. Lived through them. It was awful!

Mostly old movies during the week but TV series' on evenings and weekends.

MrFaceyRomford you cannot be serious! I was a teenager through the 70s. Best decade ever for clothes, music, food. We went from glam fans to soul kiddies to punks to new mods to the start of New Romantics and synth. Fantastic. Embrace it!

brings back memories of skipping round the school hall in my knickers & vest throwing a bean bag up in the air and catching dropping it again.

We learned to play that on the recorder.
