Help me get over this cold

I know, I know. It’s minuscule in the wider scheme of things. But I’m thoroughly fed up with having my nose in a hanky.

It’s DEFINITELY not the dreaded CV. No temperature and am streaming like a fountain.

But I just can’t pull round from a cold that I’ve had for over ten days. Still sneezing and phlegmy cough and catarrh - oh, the snot. It’s ridiculous.

I’ve been staying at home and so have the rest of the household, just in case, but everyone is fed up with listening to me honking away. And I can’t hear because my ears are crackling and blocked and popping.

Anyone got any tips? I’m on a berocca a day plus Covonia. I suffer from hay fever but this isn’t it - am taking antihistamines just in case but I’m not itchy which I normally am.

Personally, in my totally non medical opinion it sounds like hayfever to me, just because your symptoms are different to previous years, don’t rule it out. I have hayfever and some years are horrific, some years are better and one year was so bad that I needed an inhaler.
I’d ring your GP for an over the phone appointment to see if there’s anything strong you can get and to rule out something else.
